33M high lookout tower  looking over  A part of the delta works  the Krammer sluiceThe tower and the adjacent parking lot tell the story of the surroundings. The graphic panels tell the story of the flora and fauna of this special area. In the parking lot, you will discover old mooring posts that serve as benches and picnic areas. And the four camper pitches are separated by groynes. You will also discover various information boards that tell the story of the Krammer Locks and the wind farm.

History: In 1468 , Lodewijk van Gruuthu(u)se purchased the "Coudekerk" estate. He built a new church because the old one had fallen into disrepair around 1400. The Scheldt shifted its course northward at the expense of the southern part of Schouwen . In 1581, the dike along the Plompe Toren was constructed as an inland dike, running straight through the village. [ source? ] People left the village, and in 1583 the church was demolished, but the tower remained standing. It served as a beacon for shipping on the river. All ships sailing to Antwerp passed by here. The Western Scheldt was not yet navigableThe Plompe Toren (also known as Plompetoren ) is a church tower on the Oosterschelde , a few kilometers south of Burgh-Haamstede . The tower (23 meters high) is the only remaining vestige of Koudekerke , a village on Schouwen-Duiveland that has since disappeared into the Oosterschelde . O Posto Teófilo Schutz é um dos postos de gasolina mais antigos da América Latina em operação, localizado no distrito de Taquaras, em Rancho Queimado, Santa Catarina. Inaugurado no final da década de 1950 (frequentemente citado como 1954 ou 1959), o local é um ponto turístico famoso por manter sua arquitetura original da marca Texaco, servindo como uma "janela para o passado".

O Morro do Queimado, localizado em Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, a cerca de 30 km de Florianópolis, é um dos principais mirantes e pontos de voo livre da Grande Florianópolis. Com aproximadamente 694 metros de altitude, o topo oferece uma vista panorâmica de 360 graus que abrange o litoral catarinense, o Morro do Cambirela, a Ilha de Santa Catarina e as montanhas do Parque Estadual da Serra do Tabuleiro.

A "pedreira" na obra da BR-280 em Guaramirim (SC) refere-se a um lago formado durante as escavações do lote 2.1. Devido aos riscos de acidentes e afogamentos, o local foi completamente interditado pelo DNIT, sendo proibida a entrada do público.

O Salto Donner é uma das principais atrações turísticas de Doutor Pedrinho, Santa Catarina, localizado no coração do Vale Europeu. Trata-se de uma bela cascata com aproximadamente 25 metros de queda d'água formada pelo Rio Benedito, sendo facilmente acessível por estar às margens da rodovia BR-477.

Os Altos do Quiriri (ou Campos do Quiriri) são um conjunto de montanhas na divisa entre Santa Catarina e Paraná, situados principalmente no município de Campo Alegre (SC). Com altitudes que variam entre 1.300 e 1.580 metros, o local é famoso por suas paisagens de campos de altitude, formações rochosas icônicas e a possibilidade de avistar o mar e cidades como Joinville em dias limpos.

O "Postinho 2 " é um dos pontos de referência para quem visita os Altos do Quiriri , localizado na Vila Postinho, em Tijucas do Sul (PR). Ele serve como o principal portão de entrada para a região dos campos de altitude, marcando a transição entre o Paraná e Santa Catarina.

A Igreja Evangélica de Confissão Luterana em Ribeirão Liberdade, localizada em Benedito Novo (SC), é um templo histórico erguido entre 1917 e 1927 por imigrantes alemães. Construída com a técnica enxaimel, destaca-se pelas hastes de madeira aparentes e o preenchimento de tijolos que formam desenhos decorativos na fachada

A Ponte 16 é uma histórica estrutura ferroviária metálica localizada entre os municípios de Lontras e Ibirama, no Alto Vale do Itajaí, Santa Catarina. Erguida em 1928, a ponte fazia parte da antiga Estrada de Ferro Santa Catarina (EFSC) e é considerada um marco da engenharia alemã da época, tendo sido fabricada pela empresa Stahlunion, de Dortmund.

O Túnel Edmundo da Silva Pozes é o maior túnel ferroviário de Santa Catarina. Localizado em Apiúna, no Vale do Itajaí, ele faz parte da antiga Estrada de Ferro Santa Catarina (EFSC). O local, que chegou a ficar abandonado por mais de 50 anos, foi totalmente revitalizado e transformado em um ponto turístico de fácil acesso.

The route takes you from San Joaquin to Zimapan through the the river bed, it's a challenging ride but well worth it. There is an active mine at the bottom of the river and there are dump trucks traveling up and down the road to Zimapan. 

Paricutin is a dormant volcano located in Michoacan that swallowed up a couple of towns, the only evidence of these towns is the top of the church. The off-road ride to the parking lot has some deep black sand in some sections that can make it difficult, one of the guys we were with dropped his bike getting there. The church is located close to the parking lot but it does require you to climb over the lava field to get to it but it's well worth the hike.

The dunas rojas are a unique location and a great destination, there is a 60 pesos entrance fee and the road to San Francisco offers a fun ride and is very scenic. The last 2km are off-road but it's an easy off-road, I could do this 2 up and I'm just an average rider.

The Barry Way is a spectacular, winding scenic route connecting Jindabyne in New South Wales to Buchan in Victoria. Spanning approximately 133 kilometers, it transitions between sealed roads and well-maintained gravel, following the rugged Snowy River corridor through the remote wilderness of Kosciuszko and Alpine National Parks.

Completed in 1935, McKillops Bridge in East Gippsland, Victoria, is a major engineering marvel. Located in the Snowy River National Park, it features a unique combination of arc-welded steel trusses and timber. Famously, a devastating flood destroyed the original structure just days before its planned 1934 opening, prompting engineers to rebuild it 15 feet higher.The Early CrossingFor nearly a century, the site was known as McKillops Crossing. It was named after George McKillop, a pioneering squatter who crossed and mapped this section of the Snowy River in 1835. Today, it remains a heavily visited, albeit remote, historical and aesthetic icon in Victoria. Suggan Buggan School House Located at Suggan Buggan village on the side of the Barry Way, generally easily accessible. Shown on the Jacobs River map at 179094. History An incredibly old building, built about 1861 from shingles, by the O'Rourke family, the first settlers in this incredibly beautiful valley. The building was restored with the original native pine shingles in the middle 1970's. Famous for its more famous visitors, including Geoffrey Blaimey who mentioned it in one of his Federation Speeches.

It is worth seeing. It is possible to walk around and view the area from the perspective of ski jumpers.

On the northeastern edge of the village there is a small stone monument with a plaque showing a map of the Czech Republic and its geometric centre. This is the place where the geographical centre of the Czech Republic should be located, which was calculated by a private surveyor Ing. Ladislav Fofonka based on a mathematical determination of more than 3000 triangles, is the centre of gravity of the area bounded by the state borders. Nearby is a circular wooden gazebo with an information board and a description of the calculation of the geographical centre.

Well maintained Canadian wilderness campground. Robust bear fence installed. Great views of the lake. One of the better campgrounds for keeping away from the standard crowd.

This is a beautiful place to stop and look over the fertile valley of Metztitlan. The offroad between here and Tolantongo passes through an incredible canyon with very nice views and deadly drop offs. The track is used in both directions so be careful around the corners.

Tolantongo is an incredible location to visit with it's thermal teal volcanic river. This place gets VERY busy on long weekends and holidays. It's best to visit during the week and when school is in session. There is a hotel here or you can camp by the river side, there are also restaurants here but don't expect gourmet food. There is a store at the hotel that sells a variety of alcohol including beer, wine and tequila. 

Lucknerhaus with view on GrossglocknerThe Lucknerhaus is one of the most iconic alpine destinations in Austria, located at the end of the scenic Kalser Glocknerstraße in East Tyrol. Nestled at an elevation of approximately 1,920 meters, it offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Austria’s highest mountain, the majestic Grossglockner (3,798 m).The route to the Lucknerhaus winds through the peaceful Ködnitz Valley, passing traditional alpine meadows, mountain streams, and dramatic rock formations before opening up to breathtaking views of the Glockner massif.Unlike the busier Grossglockner High Alpine Road, this valley offers a quieter and more authentic alpine atmosphere while still providing direct views of the country's most famous peak.The Lucknerhaus itself serves as a mountain hotel, restaurant, and popular starting point for hikers and mountaineers heading towards the Grossglockner.Its large panoramic terrace is considered one of the finest viewpoints in the Eastern Alps, offering unobstructed views of glaciers, rugged summits, and the imposing pyramid of the Grossglockner. Schlegeis Reservoir (Schlegeisspeicher)The Schlegeis Reservoir is one of the most impressive alpine destinations in Austria, located at the end of the spectacular Zillertal High Valley in Tyrol. Surrounded by towering three-thousand-meter peaks and glaciers, the reservoir sits at an elevation of approximately 1,800 meters and offers some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the Eastern Alps.The approach follows a scenic toll road through the Zillertal Alps, passing waterfalls, steep rock faces, and several short tunnels carved directly into the mountains.
