Scenic and very interesting, huge Fortress.
Forte di Fenestrelle is the largest fortification complex in Europe and, after the Great Wall of China, the second-largest masonry structure in the world. It consists of three fortresses—San Carlo, Tre Denti, and Delle Valli—which are connected by a tunnel housing the longest covered staircase in Europe, comprising a staggering 4,000 stairs.
