Він стоїть на узбіччі старої брукованої дороги, неподалік села Лошакова Гута (історічна назва села - Старо-Карпилівська Гута) . Колись ця бруківка була частиною старої  дороги побудованої за Єкатерини 2,  Москва-Варшава і вела до переправи через Дніпро в районі затоплених нині Київським водосховищем сіл Окуніново та Ошитки.
