The Famous Tivoli Gardens.This might be the most beautifull location to End your Scandinavia tour possible. When Taking back the Oresund-Bridge stop in Kopenhagen and spend a evening in Tivoli. Eat, Drink, take a ride, watch a concert and enjoy this unique location.

The Fomous caves of Postonja. they are huge.Sadly also very expensive to visit and way overcrowded in summer.there are beter smaller options in Slovnia.

Well known point for Off-road rider in The Netherlands. One of the only Hill-climbs (or desents) in the Netherlands. South to North is Climb, usually very sandy at the top.Better photo follows next time we will pass there.

In the process, the water overcomes an altitude difference of 250 meters. For geologists the eroded formations are silent witnesses to millions of years of earth history. For everyone else, the Rosengarten gorge with its wealth of flowers, animals and stones is simply breath-takingly beautiful.

The Serbian Orthodox church in Medari, a village near Nova Gradiška and Okučani in Croatia, was a site of destruction, as depicted in this 2018 image on Wikimedia Commons. The structure was heavily damaged or destroyed in the conflict during "operation Flash" on may 1th 1995 , serving as a marker of that period in the region.When you ride along this street there is no house without the scars of war. a grim reminder of the disaster this region had to endure.  When visiting here please do read about the history.

The Kölnbrein Dam is an arch dam in the Hohe Tauern range within Carinthia, Austria. t was constructed between 1971 and 1979 and at 200 metres (660 ft) high, it is the tallest dam in Austria. The dam's reservoir serves as the primary storage in a three-stage pumped-storage power system that consists of nine dams, four hydroelectric power plants and a series of pipeline and penstocks. The complex is owned by Verbund power company and is referred to as the Malta-Reisseck Power Plant Group. The installed capacity of the group is 1,028.5 MW and its annual generation is 1,216 gigawatt-hours (4,380 TJ). While the dam's reservoir was filling, several cracks appeared in the dam and it took more than a decade of repairs before the reservoir could operate at maximum levels.[2][3][4] Currently, the Reisseck II pumped-storage power plant is under construction and will effectively connect both the Malta and Reisseck groups and add an additional 430 MW of production capacity.It is at the end of the Malta Hochalmstraße (Malta High Alpine Road)  which is a Toll road.The Malta high alpine road leads you through tunnels carved out of the native rock and hairpin turn, go past rushing waterfalls, up high to Austria's highest concrete dam Kölnbreinsperre. Enjoy the view from the glass platform, "airwalk", moreover, there is the alpine hotel restaurant Malta with the exibition "energy world Malta" from Verbund Tips: Guided tour into the dam. Explore the Via ferrata "DAMM HIGH" just next to the dam.

Chochołów is a village comprised almost exclusively of the heritage Polish wooden houses (góralskie chaty) built by the Polish Gorals highlanders. Prominent heritage sights include the Chochołów Uprising Museum and the Saint Hyacinth church. A thermal spa area[4] was opened here in 2016 using hot mineral springs from the Dolina Chocholowska valley which is located in some distance to the south in the Tatra Mountains National Park.

Lake Leśnia (Polish Jezioro Leśniańskie, German Marklissa-Talsperre) is a small artificial lake, located on the Kwisa river, between towns of Leśna and Gryfow Slaski in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, southwestern Poland. It was opened on July 15, 1905, after a dam had been completed near the village of Czocha. The dam was constructed between 1901 - 1905, by the government of Kingdom of Prussia’s Province of Silesia. Most workers employed during construction came from Austria and Italy, and total cost was estimated at 1,270,00 reichsmarks. The dam is 45 m high, its length is 130 m, and its thickness - 8 m on top. Total area of the lake is 140 hectares, and volume - 15 million cubic metres. The length of the lake is around 7 km, and it is up to 1 km wide. Between 1905 and 1907, a hydroelectric power plant was built there, for 800,000 marks, funded by the government of Silesia. Currently, it is the oldest plant of this kind in Poland, with six J.M.Voith 1906 turbines still working. On the high, left bank of the lake, Czocha Castle is located, and on the right bank, there is the complex of Rajsko Castle. The lake is a popular summer vacation centre, with several campsites and watersports facilities.

Geschiedenis Fort Spion is part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. This defense line was laid between 1815 and 1885 and functioned - with the necessary modifications - until 1940 as one of the main defense lines of our country. The Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie lay tussen de Zuiderzee en de Biesbosch en encompassing 68 defense works, hundreds of concrete works and a considerable inundation area. Dit inundatiegebied, dat underwater gezet kon worden, zou vyjändelijke troupe tegenhouden. More information about the Hollandse Waterlinie is at the links at the bottom of this page. Location Fort Spion lies in the Loosdrechtse Plassengebied, tussen Loosdrecht en Loenen aan de Vecht. U vind hier volop fiets-, wandel- en vaarmogeligheden. The nearest aanleg mogeligungen, voor een boat, is op överne een kilometer afstand. The Camper Tegenwoordig is Fort Spion o.a. furnished as a small simple campsite. Geen canteen, bingo, zwembad or speeltuinen maar een mooie kleine camping op een historische plek. Douches en toilet zijn in het fort anweise. Er is parking voor ca.5 auto's maar er is geen plaats voor vouwwagens, campers or caravans. If bij ons te kamperen dient u lid te zijn van de Stichting Natuurkampeerterreinen.Dit kost € 15.95 per jaar (voor een gezin or groep van 4 personen), en dan heeft u meeten ruim 130 andere leuke kampeeradressen. Lid worden can bij wes. The overnight stay Campers with a tent can find a spot on the grass behind the fort. There are 10 camping sites. Overnight is also possible in the kleine remise (plaats voor 2 personen, te huur per nacht) or in het bomvrije wachthuis (met kruitopslag en projectielenmagazijn), (max. 4 personen, te huur per week, weekend or midweek).

Megalithic tomb D27, located in Borger, Drenthe, is the largest and most famous hunebed (dolmen) in the Netherlands. Built around 3400–3500 BC by the Funnelbeaker culture, this Neolithic passage grave serves as a massive prehistoric burial monument.
